Chris Lawson vs Paipau Kohikikko

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Waitakere Puru, Waitakere,  taking place on 27/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Lawson (12 - 1 - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Paipau Kohikikko(5 - 2 - 2) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Lawson and Kohikikko weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mick Fairbairn, and the three ringside judges are Jamie Hay, Noel Haxton and Will Swaney.
