Lao-Tzu Shen vs Ian Zheng

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Johor Bahru Mustafa, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 28/05/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lao-Tzu Shen (11 - 3 - 1) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Ian Zheng(16 - 0) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Shen weighed in at 147 pounds, while Zheng weighed in at 146 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Azam Hamdan, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Diab, Farhan Younis and Haaris Hammad.  

Round 1: 

Zheng closes the distance.  Zheng pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
