Juan Lumunsad vs Andy Cainghug

Boxing Daily Report from the Dauda Promotions promoted show at San Pedro Fleites, San Pedro,  taking place on 29/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Lumunsad (17(1) - 1) who hails from Calamba, Philippines and Andy Cainghug(8 - 7) from San Pablo, Philippines.  Both Lumunsad and Cainghug weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Orlando Arrendondo, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Talaro, Arnie Gumiran and Xavier Sicat.  

Round 1: 

Cainghug attempts to land a cross, but Lumunsad blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
