Alejandro Dayot vs Diego Akut

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-NCR promoted show at Quezon City Halili, Quezon City,  taking place on 29/05/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-NCR Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Dayot (12 - 6) who hails from Quezon City, Philippines and Diego Akut(7 - 2 - 5) from Taguig, Philippines.  Dayot weighed in at 122 pounds, while Akut weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Javier Mago, and the three ringside judges are Wayne Linsangan, Robert Can and Miguel Bayudan.  

Round 1: 

Dayot advances into close range and lands a right hook.
