Ryo Sakurai vs Hiro Higashi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Matsudo Seto, Matsudo,  taking place on 30/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryo Sakurai (13 - 1 - 2) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Hiro Higashi(12 - 2 - 1) from Chiba, Japan.  Sakurai weighed in at 126 pounds, while Higashi weighed in at 125 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Yamada, and the three ringside judges are Yoshi Nomura, Mikio Gima and Michi Sakamoto.
