Jay Nicolson vs Arran Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Four Points Sheraton Hotel, San Diego,  taking place on 21/07/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jay Nicolson (13 - 0) who hails from Irvine, USA and Arran Jones(14 - 4 - 1) from Long Beach, USA.  Both Nicolson and Jones weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Herring, and the three ringside judges are Adam Reina, Michael Thomason and James Keay.  

Round 1:
