Kenzie Bowell vs Josh Ortiz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arizona promoted show at Rob Rust Gym, Mesa,  taking place on 02/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenzie Bowell (4 - 12 - 2) who hails from Houston, USA and Josh Ortiz(12 - 0) from Chandler, USA.  Bowell weighed in at 112 pounds, while Ortiz weighed in at 111 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tariq Mahmoud, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Davies, Declan Page and Enzo Febus.  

Round 1: 

Ortiz closes the distance.  Bowell pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bowell attempts to land a right uppercut, but Ortiz sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Bowell's body.
