Dave Medel vs Oliver Sloan

Boxing Daily Report from the Ace Boxing promoted show at Houston Athletic Fencing Center, Houston,  taking place on 09/06/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-SouthWest Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Medel (10 - 1(1)) who hails from Dallas, USA and Oliver Sloan(11 - 3) from Oklahoma City, USA.  Both Medel and Sloan weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Ruane, and the three ringside judges are David Smyth, Ian Hesson and Faisal Rasul.
