Hugh Stitt vs Euan Caruthers

Boxing Daily Report from the Bhengu Promotions promoted show at Jordan Tear Gym, Louisville,  taking place on 02/06/2025:

Clearly Bhengu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Stitt (8 - 9 - 3) who hails from Louisville, USA and Euan Caruthers(5(2) - 2) from Lexington, USA.  Stitt weighed in at 199 pounds and 10 ounces, while Caruthers weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Harkins, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Hutcheon, Dave Stark and Leon Prosser.  

Round 1: 

Caruthers lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Caruthers holds on to his opponent.  Caruthers leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Caruthers tries to land a right hook, but Stitt blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Caruthers's body.
