Boxing Daily Report from the Ace Boxing promoted show at Houston Athletic Fencing Center, Houston,  taking place on 09/06/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Texas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Jaimez (15 - 2) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Dave Ruxton(11 - 3) from Austin, USA.  Jaimez weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ruxton weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Hesson, and the three ringside judges are Mike Ruane, David Smyth and Faisal Rasul.
