Shing Penn vs Hassan Salaam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Perak promoted show at Waqar Qazi Gym, Ipoh,  taking place on 02/06/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Perak Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shing Penn (9 - 6 - 3) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Hassan Salaam(13 - 5 - 4) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Penn weighed in at 108 pounds, while Salaam weighed in at 107 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zuffur Sylla, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Masih, Sajid Mustafa and Sajid Mustafa.  

Round 1: 

Penn lands a right hook.
