Dom Muffett vs William Kenneth

Boxing Daily Report from the Sijabala Promotions promoted show at Michael Neal Gym, Huntsville,  taking place on 02/06/2025:

Clearly Sijabala Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dom Muffett (10 - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Mobile, USA and William Kenneth(9 - 1) from Montgomery, USA.  Muffett weighed in at 147 pounds, while Kenneth weighed in at 146 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Owen Belliston, and the three ringside judges are Oscar Bateman, Jonathan Reid and Antwan Blain.  

Round 1: 

Kenneth pivots to the right of his opponent.  Muffett lands a left uppercut.  
Kenneth quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Kenneth is looking to close the distance.  Muffett tries to land a left hook, but Kenneth sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kenneth pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Kenneth manages to force Muffett onto the ropes.  Kenneth pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Kenneth steps inside.  Kenneth pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  Muffett wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Kenneth has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Kenneth voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Muffett steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Kenneth connects with a left hook.  
Muffett pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Kenneth lands with a ramrod jab.  Kenneth attempts to land a jab, but Muffett dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kenneth lands a left hook.  
Muffett lands a cross.  
Kenneth gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kenneth advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Muffett's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Muffett's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
