Nathan Magruder vs Mark Steele

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Colorado promoted show at Colorado Springs Walker, Colorado Springs,  taking place on 02/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Colorado Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nathan Magruder (3 - 7 - 3) who hails from Denver, USA and Mark Steele(8 - 12(1) - 2) from Denver, USA.  Both Magruder and Steele weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Monhollen, and the three ringside judges are Dan Nanney, Chris Duncan and Tobias Colquhoun.  

Round 1: 

Magruder is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Steele hits home with a cross.  
Magruder gets on the inside.  Steele attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Magruder time to recover.  
Steele finds the target with a jab.
