Jack Blandon vs Connor Ariweriyai

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Inglewood Forum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 28/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight are the IRBF Cruiserweight and WRBC Cruiserweight titles.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jack Bang Bang Blandon (20(15) - 0) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Connor Ariweriyai(11(5) - 3(2) - 1(NC)) from Kaduna, Nigeria.  Both Blandon and Ariweriyai weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Stein, and the three ringside judges are John Rhydderch, Harry Millar and Vicente Salido.  

Round 1: 

Ariweriyai tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ariweriyai closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  Ariweriyai attempts to land a left hook, but Blandon sidesteps and counters with a FIERCE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE ARIWERIYAI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ariweriyai switches the action to the outside.  Blandon is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Blandon lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Blandon lands a right hook to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  It looks like Ariweriyai has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Blandon steps to the outside.  Blandon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Blandon DETONATES a SAVAGE overhand right on his opponents face.  ARIWERIYAI IS HURT!  Blandon tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ariweriyai now seems to have got his legs back.  
Ariweriyai throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a FEROCIOUS right hook.  ARIWERIYAI IS HURT!  
Blandon senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Blandon lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND DROPS ARIWERIYAI TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Blandon!
