Boxing Daily Report from the Donnelly Boxing promoted show at Donnelly Gym, Kitwe,  taking place on 30/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Verlyn Watiyakeni (0 - 0) who hails from Kitwe, Zambia and Lavaughn Mwikisa(2 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Watiyakeni and Mwikisa weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mykelti Shona, and the three ringside judges are Deion Kalilele, Mykelti Shona and Kaleb Mukwena.  

Round 1: 

Watiyakeni pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mwikisa attempts to land a jab, but Watiyakeni blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Mwikisa's body.
