Iyas Abitbol vs Paul Rodgerson

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Edwards Hall, Miami,  taking place on 23/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Iyas Abitbol (3 - 0) who hails from Khouribga, Morocco and Paul Rodgerson(5 - 11 - 3) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Abitbol and Rodgerson weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Hyslop, and the three ringside judges are Chris Hanlin, Malcolm Porteous and Pedro Buendia.  

Round 1: 

Rodgerson throws a left uppercut, but Abitbol clinches his opponent.  Rodgerson uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Abitbol behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rodgerson about fouling.  
Abitbol pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Rodgerson throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Abitbol closes the distance and manages to force Rodgerson into a corner.  Abitbol lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Abitbol lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Abitbol lands a left hook.  
Abitbol lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Abitbol pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.
