Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Simasiku Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 04/06/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Josh Prothero (13 - 1 - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Ewan Cook(12 - 4 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Prothero and Cook weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Ngarongomate, and the three ringside judges are Justin Kahukakanui, Mike Sproule and Kieran Beynon.
