Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Ngakaho, Christchurch,  taking place on 05/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Canterbury Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Stirton (8 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Jordan Gove(11 - 7 - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Stirton and Gove weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kahorere Keno, and the three ringside judges are Noel Haxton, Harry Callison and Tobias Vert.
