Gbolahan Peters vs Khalid Halim

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Amata, Kano,  taking place on 05/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gbolahan Peters (7 - 9) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Khalid Halim(9 - 0) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Peters and Halim weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hope Ukuh, and the three ringside judges are Chris Adebola, Jay-Jay Ukaegbu and Chinedu Shekari.  

Round 1: 

Peters steps inside.  Halim lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
