Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Grand Hall,Guild Hall, Preston,  taking place on 02/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mohsin Hamed (3 - 0) who hails from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Niall Kavanagh(3 - 3 - 3) from Cork, Ireland.  Both Hamed and Kavanagh weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Apted, and the three ringside judges are Sam McClenny, Bradley Hughes and Noah Adams.  

Round 1: 

Kavanagh attempts to land a jab, but Hamed dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Hamed feints a right hook, and then drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.

Hamed lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Kavanagh tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Kavanagh's body.  
Hamed hits home with a left hook.  
Hamed advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Hamed drives a left uppercut into Kavanagh's body.  
Hamed drives a right hook into Kavanagh's body.  
Hamed cuts off the ring, trapping Kavanagh in a corner.  Hamed digs in a left hook to Kavanagh's liver.
