John Gatti vs Majid Tabet

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at York Hall, London,  taking place on 20/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Gatti (8 - 0) who hails from Leicester, UK and Majid Tabet(9 - 7(1) - 3) from Sharjah, UAE.  Gatti weighed in at 135 pounds, while Tabet weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Connor Hamel, and the three ringside judges are Ian Parry, David Ladd and Robert Desmond.  

Round 1: 

Gatti closes the distance.  As Tabet tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gatti dabs at his face checking for damage.
