Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 06/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Buys (11(1) - 2 - 1) who hails from Germiston, South Africa and Okapi Ametepey(13(1) - 1) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Buys weighed in at 135 pounds, while Ametepey weighed in at 134 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Simba Bariagher, and the three ringside judges are Ndumisa Ntuli, Cole Twala and Max De Jager.
