Ahmed Elbaz vs Haider Sabet

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Gezira Sporting Club, Cairo,  taking place on 07/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Middle East Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ahmed Elbaz (14 - 3) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Haider Sabet(16 - 4(1) - 1) from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  Both Elbaz and Sabet weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adnan Abdelnour, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Ammar, Umair Hamed and Imran Rizvi.
