Matt Yegon vs James Chebet

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Uhuru Basketball Court, Nairobi,  taking place on 22/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Kenya-Nairobi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Yegon (11 - 4 - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and James Chebet(9 - 6 - 5) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Yegon and Chebet weighed in at 200 pounds.
