Brett Malone vs Dai Lazaroff

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 21/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Queensland Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Malone (7 - 7 - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Dai Lazaroff(8 - 6 - 2) from Sunshine Coast, Australia.  Malone weighed in at 117 pounds and 4 ounces, while Lazaroff weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Forbes, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Deasmhumhain, Sammy Feamster and Hugh Durie.
