Kirk Mortensen vs Federico Casa

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at Royal Dublin Society, Dublin,  taking place on 21/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kirk Mortensen (7(2) - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Federico Casa(8(1) - 12(3) - 2) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Mortensen and Casa weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Nesmith, and the three ringside judges are Shane MacNevin, Leon Finnin and John Hyland.  

Round 1: 

Mortensen is on target with a cross.  
Mortensen lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mortensen is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Casa throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Mortensen time to recover.  
Casa is looking to close the distance.  Mortensen wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Casa dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mortensen lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Casa gets on the inside.  Casa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mortensen drives a left hook into his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mortensen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mortensen lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Casa advances into close range.  Mortensen lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mortensen lands a right hook to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  
Mortensen lands two left uppercut's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  As Casa tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mortensen dabs at his face checking for damage.
