Matthew McCormick vs Lakista Chikusu

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at The O2, Dublin,  taking place on 18/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Youth Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Setanta Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matthew McCormick (11 - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Lakista Chikusu(13 - 3 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  McCormick weighed in at 147 pounds, while Chikusu weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark McClellan, and the three ringside judges are Roy Clery, Lorcan Coleman and Clinton MacAdam.
