Xing-fu Siao vs Kong Zhu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Shandong promoted show at Chung Teh Gym, Zibo,  taking place on 15/06/2025:

Clearly AI China-Shandong have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Shandong Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xing-fu Siao (4 - 6 - 4) who hails from Jinan, China and Kong Zhu(10 - 1 - 3) from Zibo, China.  Both Siao and Zhu weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quon Mai, and the three ringside judges are Wen Wan, Liko Fu and Manchu Moo.  

Round 1: 

Zhu steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Siao steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Siao sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Siao steps away from his opponent.  Zhu connects with an overhand left.  
Siao tries to step out of his opponents range.  Zhu lands a jab.  
Zhu connects with a cross.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Zhu dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Zhu walks Siao into the corner.  Zhu pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Siao hits home with a right uppercut.  
Zhu lands a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Zhu has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Zhu lands a right hook.  
Zhu lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Siao pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Siao's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
