Valeri Korol vs Neron Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the All Talk Promotions promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 20/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valeri Korol (17(8) - 0) who hails from Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine and Neron Diaz(10 - 6(2) - 1) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Korol weighed in at 147 pounds, while Diaz weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rory Finnegan, and the three ringside judges are Clinton MacAdam, Rory Finnegan and Lewis Carroll.  

Round 1: 

Diaz pivots to the left of his opponent.  Korol drives a left uppercut into Diaz's body.

Korol lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.

Diaz could be stopped here, if Korol can find the right shot!  Korol lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING DIAZ DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Diaz now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Diaz's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Diaz's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Korol walks Diaz onto the ropes.  Korol lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Korol wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Diaz dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Korol digs in a right hook to Diaz's ribcage.  
Korol closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Korol walks his opponent into a corner.  Korol drives a firm left hook into Diaz's liver.  
Korol drives a solid right hook into Diaz's body.  
Diaz tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Korol drives a weighty left hook into his opponents ribs.  DIAZ IS HURT!  
The right shot from Korol could be enough to force the stoppage!  Korol lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS DIAZ TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Diaz has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
