Odell Kandt vs Benedict Madjo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Bob Note Promotions promoted show at B&W Grand Ballroom, Copenhagen,  taking place on 05/07/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Odell Kandt (9(5) - 1) who hails from Bremen, Germany and Benedict Madjo(12 - 3 - 3) from Maroua, Cameroon.  Kandt weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces, while Madjo weighed in at 124 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Knute Bossen, and the three ringside judges are Ludvig Helgesen, Thorin Brauner and Ulster Hatke.  

Round 1: 

Madjo throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kandt lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Kandt clinches his opponent.  Kandt is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Kandt and breaks the clinch.  
Kandt gets on the inside and walks Madjo down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Kandt lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Madjo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kandt lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kandt forces Madjo to back into the corner.  Kandt pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kandt lands a right hook.  Kandt tries to land a right hook, but Madjo blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kandt walks Madjo into the corner.  Kandt lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Madjo has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Kandt drives a right hook into Madjo's body.  
Kandt lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  As Kandt tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Madjo.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Kandt steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kandt sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Kandt advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kandt is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Kandt wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!
