Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Urban Park, La Plata,  taking place on 01/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Argentina Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on America Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Macario Mateo (14 - 2 - 1) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Hernan Almodovar(14(2) - 3) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Both Mateo and Almodovar weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Mayoral, and the three ringside judges are Manny Pasion, Ora Borrero and Guido Floro.
