Lemah Wijono vs Santoso Darmokusumo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Indonesia-Riau Islands promoted show at Kartanegara Kartini Gym, Batam,  taking place on 21/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Indonesia-Riau Islands Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lemah Wijono (6 - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Batam, Indonesia and Santoso Darmokusumo(9 - 4 - 3) from Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia.  Both Wijono and Darmokusumo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Banyu Agustiawan, and the three ringside judges are Dwi Kinsey, Hiawang Na and Mohsin Pour.  

Round 1: 

Darmokusumo hits home with a cross.  
Wijono steps inside.  Wijono sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Wijono throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Darmokusumo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Darmokusumo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Wijono time to recover.
