Angel Modesto vs Dario Merced

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City,  taking place on 19/07/2025:

Clearly Bos Firefighters have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Americas Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DAZN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Modesto (19(2) - 1 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Dario Merced(11 - 4 - 2) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Modesto and Merced weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Normand, and the three ringside judges are Jamie Loudon, Robert Dalton and Ewan McLoughlin.
