Taro Seki vs Akira Taguchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Sky Hall Toyota, Toyota,  taking place on 20/06/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Taro Seki (7 - 5 - 1) who hails from Okazaki, Japan and Akira Taguchi(11 - 8 - 3) from Nagoya, Japan.  Seki weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces, while Taguchi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mikio Yasuda, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Sando, Raiden Matsui and Kenji Matsushima.

Taguchi is looking to close the distance.  As Seki tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Taguchi dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Taguchi.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
