Mitsuru Araya vs Iwao Ishibashi

Boxing Daily Report from the Lampi Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Takemoto, Sapporo,  taking place on 22/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Hokkaido Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mitsuru Araya (17 - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Iwao Ishibashi(11 - 6) from Asahikawa, Japan.  Both Araya and Ishibashi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Yokoyama, and the three ringside judges are Michi Kaneko, Aki Mizuno and Satoru Yasui.
