Bart Kahata vs Laken Apaloo

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Lavaughn Kimutai Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 23/06/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bart Kahata (10 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Laken Apaloo(10 - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Kahata and Apaloo weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shaun Chelangat, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Lone, Lee Rebelo and Luister Mutahi.
