Shinji Konda vs Rahul Khaparde

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 11/07/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shinji Konda (11 - 0) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Rahul Khaparde(13(1) - 2 - 1) from New Delhi, India.  Both Konda and Khaparde weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kaede Toyama, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Nakazawa, Nori Tamanaha and Kenji Sera.
