Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 11/07/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mikio Kawakami (3 - 0) who hails from Sagamihara, Japan and Naoki Chiba(8 - 4 - 1) from Tokorozawa, Japan.  Both Kawakami and Chiba weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fumio Nakazawa, and the three ringside judges are Nori Tamanaha, Kaede Toyama and Kenji Sera.
