Xeres Botero vs Ignado Montesino

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Meadowbrook Recreation Center, Arlington,  taking place on 04/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xeres Botero (12(5) - 0 - 1) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Ignado Montesino(13 - 4 - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Botero and Montesino weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Hesson, and the three ringside judges are Michael Toste, Chris Suit and Floyd Celestino.  

Round 1: 

Botero closes the distance and hits home with a solid left hook.  Botero throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
