Boxing Daily Report from the Elite Prizefighters promoted show at Liverpool Ghilardotti, Liverpool,  taking place on 19/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Arthur Pickens (7 - 9 - 3) who hails from Leeds, UK and Danyaal Srour(6 - 5 - 3) from Liverpool, UK.  Both Pickens and Srour weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matt McFee, and the three ringside judges are Colin Bowen, John Magee and Brad Scroggins.

Srour advances into close range and walks Pickens into the corner.  Srour sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Srour walks Pickens into the corner.  Pickens lands a left hook.  Srour wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pickens dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Pickens.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
