Franco Checo vs Rob Larive

Boxing Daily Report from the Banks Prized Promotions promoted show at Pittsburgh Bailey, Pittsburgh,  taking place on 26/06/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Franco Checo (9 - 7 - 3) who hails from New York City, USA and Rob Larive(8 - 7 - 1) from Pittsburgh, USA.  Checo weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces, while Larive weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Blood, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Kuntzman, Sam Fenty and John Garrett.

Checo attempts to land a cross, but Larive slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Larive drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Checo is on target with a left hook.

Checo connects with a right uppercut.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Checo dabs at his face checking for damage.
