Boxing Daily Report from the Chirambo Promotions promoted show at Kano Obekpa, Kano,  taking place on 26/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kano State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brendan Etafia (14 - 0) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Atif Basa(8 - 0 - 1) from Kano, Nigeria.  Etafia weighed in at 175 pounds, while Basa weighed in at 174 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Izunna Obiefuna, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Mbachu, Gbolahan Adenaike and Theophilus Adeniran.
