Vasili Kovalik vs Borya Potapov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Samara Oblast promoted show at Alik Afinogenov Gym, Samara,  taking place on 30/05/2025:

Clearly AI Russia-Samara Oblast have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Samara Oblast Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vasili Kovalik (12 - 8 - 2) who hails from Samara, Russia and Borya Potapov(6 - 8 - 5) from Tolyatti, Russia.  Both Kovalik and Potapov weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marlen Gavrilov, and the three ringside judges are Afanas Yegorov, Alik Daman and Fadei Simonich.
