Michael Wayne vs Eric McPheters

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at RJM Gym, Cambridge,  taking place on 24/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Wayne (6 - 0) who hails from Swansea, UK and Eric McPheters(3 - 7 - 1) from London, UK.  Wayne weighed in at 121 pounds and 3 ounces, while McPheters weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ahmed Zakaria, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Carroll, Peter Arras and Hugh McCabe.  

Round 1: 

Wayne feints a left, and then snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
McPheters throws a left hook, but Wayne holds on to his opponent.  Wayne leans on his opponent using all his weight. Wayne pushes his forearm into McPheters's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McPheters is on target with a jab.  
Wayne pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to McPheters's body.  
Wayne closes the distance.  Wayne pivots to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Wayne lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Wayne switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
McPheters advances into close range.  Wayne lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Wayne lands a left hook.  
Wayne feints a cross, fooling McPheters into throwing a cross counter.  Wayne springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.  
Wayne lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Wayne sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Wayne pivots to the side of his opponent.  McPheters throws a right hook, but Wayne clinches his opponent.  Wayne leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Wayne's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wayne pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.

Wayne lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.
