Alec Coleman vs Brian McArthur

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at York Hall, London,  taking place on 20/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Alec Coleman (1 - 0) who hails from Surrey, Canada and Brian McArthur(3 - 3 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Coleman and McArthur weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Connor Hamel, and the three ringside judges are Robert Desmond, Ian Parry and David Ladd.  

Round 1: 

Coleman lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
McArthur tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
McArthur advances into close range.  Coleman digs in a right uppercut to McArthur's body.  
Coleman tries to step out of his opponents range.  McArthur waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Coleman is on target with a cross.  
Coleman hits home with a cross.  
McArthur advances into close range.  Coleman sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Coleman lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Coleman clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Coleman pushes his forearm into McArthur's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Coleman to stop fouling.  
Coleman is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Coleman feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
McArthur gets on the inside.  Coleman hits home with a left uppercut.  As McArthur tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Coleman dabs at his face checking for damage.  
McArthur is on target with a right uppercut.  
Coleman lands a cross.  
Coleman hits home with a cross.  
McArthur throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Coleman tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
McArthur steps inside.  Coleman is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.

McArthur throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Coleman time to recover.  
McArthur advances into close range and manouvers Coleman into a neutral corner.  Coleman throws a right hook, but is not on target.  Coleman holds on to his opponent.  Coleman leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Coleman lands a jab.  
Coleman digs in a left uppercut to McArthur's ribs.  
McArthur steps inside.  Coleman pivots to the side of his opponent.  Coleman lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Coleman ties up his opponent.  Coleman throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
McArthur forces Coleman to retreat onto the ropes.  Coleman lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Coleman steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
McArthur advances into close range.  Coleman lands a right hook.
