Ingvar Matthiesen vs Adnan Kassas

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Grand Hall,Guild Hall, Preston,  taking place on 02/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ingvar Matthiesen (14(6) - 1) who hails from Aarhus, Denmark and Adnan Kassas(3 - 2 - 1) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Both Matthiesen and Kassas weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Apted, and the three ringside judges are Bradley Hughes, Sam McClenny and Noah Adams.  

Round 1: 

Kassas tries to land a jab, but Matthiesen slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Matthiesen is on target with a left hook to Kassas's body.  
Matthiesen drives a sharp left hook into Kassas's body.  
Matthiesen closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Matthiesen lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Matthiesen lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Matthiesen clinches his opponent.  Matthiesen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Matthiesen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Kassas quickly recovers.
