Hugh Doe vs Kashif Masih

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 19/07/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Doe (13(6) - 0) who hails from San Jose, USA and Kashif Masih(7 - 5(1) - 2) from Mecca, Saudi Arabia.  Both Doe and Masih weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Evans, and the three ringside judges are Dave Greenan, Fred Reese and Elliot Ogle.  

Round 1: 

Doe advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Doe steps inside.  Doe pivots to the right of his opponent.  Masih throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Doe walks his opponent into the corner.  Doe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Doe gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Masih sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Doe lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Doe manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Doe drives a left uppercut into Masih's ribs.  
Doe lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Doe clinches his opponent.  Doe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Doe.  
Doe lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Doe attempts to land a right hook, but Masih blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Doe advances into close range and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Doe pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a firm cross.  
Doe closes the distance and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Doe clinches his opponent.  Doe is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Doe is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Doe clinches his opponent.  Doe tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Masih behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Doe.  
Doe manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Doe lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Doe lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Doe is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Masih attempts to land a jab, but Doe blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Doe digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  As Doe tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Masih dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Doe hits home with a left hook.  
Doe drives a firm right hook into Masih's body.  Doe ties up his opponent.  Doe leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Doe walks Masih down, trapping him in the corner.  Doe hits home with a right uppercut.  
Doe digs in a left uppercut to Masih's body.  
Doe lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Doe holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Doe's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Doe hits home with a solid left hook.  
Doe gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Doe hits home with a left uppercut.  Doe tries to land a right uppercut, but Masih blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Masih's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Masih's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Doe lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Doe steps to the outside.  Doe is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Masih attempts to land an overhand left, but Doe slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Masih hits home with a left hook.  
Doe walks his opponent into a corner.  Doe lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Doe lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Masih almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Masih throws a right hook, but Doe holds on to his opponent.  Doe is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Doe to stop holding.  
Doe lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Doe lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Doe stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Doe lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MASIH!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Doe lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MASIH!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Doe!
