Duncan Poovey vs John Meylor

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Ontario promoted show at Delta Ottawa Hotel, Ottawa,  taking place on 13/07/2025:

Clearly AI Canada-Ontario have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Duncan Poovey (11 - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and John Meylor(4 - 0) from Toronto, Canada.  Poovey weighed in at 108 pounds, while Meylor weighed in at 107 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Richard Amiot, and the three ringside judges are Richie Clasby, Davie Foyle and Richie Clasby.
