Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 30/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sammy Burness (13(4) - 5 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Mel Fallen(11 - 5(1) - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Burness and Fallen weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dai Lesley, and the three ringside judges are George McRae, Hugh Bobko and Arnie Lipton.
