Dave Sobukwe vs Quoitrel Burja

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Pretoria Lakay, Pretoria,  taking place on 30/06/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Gauteng Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Sobukwe (13 - 4) who hails from Roodepoort, South Africa and Quoitrel Burja(9 - 0 - 1) from Katlehong, South Africa.  Both Sobukwe and Burja weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Khuzwayo, and the three ringside judges are Vuyisile Sekola, Clinton Nyauza and David Khumalo.
